Skelton & Plummer Projects (Pty) Ltd has been operating in the construction industry since 1983 while Eddcor E & I Projects (Pty) Ltd was formed in 2001 in order to expand and strengthen the Skelton & Plummer Group’s activities in the electrical and instrumentation sectors.

The Plant Suppliers Division was formed and to date has established itself in the fields of water clarification, water filtration, sludge filtration, slurry thickening and high density sludge pumping and has supplied plant and equipment for the mining, chemical and industrial sectors.

The Group became part of the Stefanutti Stocks Group of Companies in January 2008 and is now able to offer turn key projects in the civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation fields.

The Skelton & Plummer Group head office is based in the Midrand Industrial Park (Gauteng) with construction sites throughout South Africa, including Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique in the Southern African Region.

The Group is equipped with a full range of construction equipment including cranes, trucks, staff busses, site storage containers, portable office and labour accommodation facilities enabling the company to work in remote areas.

To backup the on-site construction capability the Group has dedicated health and safety, estimating, quantity surveying, planning, accounting and logistic departments.  The Group has a yard for maintenance of all plant and equipment as well as receiving and dispatching of all goods ordered.

The Group is founded on the basis of staff with proven records within the industry and the emphasis has been and will continue to be on quality in staff, equipment and the service supplied to clients.

To support this commitment the Group operates a quality assurance system that satisfies the intent of ISO 9000 and has been successfully audited by the Anglo American Corporation, Deutsche Babcock and others.
